WORSHIP
Worship is the reason we exist. We were created to worship Him… and we’re also commanded to worship Him. Worship is an attitude of the heart. It means ‘to ascribe worth’ or to ‘give adoration’. It’s when we love God for who He is and what He has done, and it can be expressed in so many ways! Often you’ll see expressions of worship like, music, singing, dancing, art, kneeling, clapping, or sometimes just being still. We desire to see people express their worship to God in the way they were created to.
At The Harbour it’s our desire to see 24 / 7 worshippers, but we also have exciting opportunities every month when we gather together to express our worship to God. Each Sunday gatherins we begin with a time of musical worship that spans about 30 – 45 minutes.
Once a month - typically the Wednesday closest to the middle of the month - we hold a Worship and Ministry evening. It's a drop in style gathering, open to the community at large, where we focus our attention on ministering to the heart of God and ministering to those in our community that need prayer, healing, etc.
If you don’t know the lyrics to a song, we project them on a number of screens. Our worship team is usually full, consisting of guitars, drums, bass, keyboard, etc. Our desire is to see Christ lifted up and glorified through everything we do during these gatherings.
