WORSHIP
Worship is the reason we exist. We were created to worship Him… and we’re also commanded to worship Him. Worship is an attitude of the heart. It means ‘to ascribe worth’ or to ‘give adoration’. It’s when we love God for who He is and what He has done, and it can be expressed in so many ways!
At The Harbour it’s our desire to see 24 / 7 worshippers, but we also have an exciting time every week when we gather together corporately to express our worship to God through music. At The Harbour we love singing and usually worship for 30 – 40 minutes. Often you’ll see other expressions of worship at our church like dancing, kneeling, clapping, or sometimes just being still. We desire to see people express their worship to God in the way they were created to.
If you don’t know the lyrics to a song, we project them right beside the band. Our worship team is usually full, consisting of guitars, drums, bass, keyboard, and violin. Our desire is to see Christ lifted up and glorified through everything we do on Saturday Nights.
If you have any questions, or if you feel called to serve in this ministry, you can contact Chris Hermann and he will explain the process that you can pursue to become part of The Harbour’s Worship Team.
